    Frodo lives!

    I got this set to replace my old set that was literally falling to pieces. Re-reading this classic is like visiting an old friend. Familiar, but never ceases to satisfy. Not only compelling plots, fully developed characters, and timeless themes, but beautiful phrasing throughout. Never cared much for the long didactic poetry, so I kind of skim over that.

    Cheaply made product

    The picture selected to sell this set is not the actual product you receive. Instead you receive a mass production of the 4 books which are very small in sz and the printing is very small as well making it difficult to read… I would recommend going to a book store than buying this item online if you want a better quality product!

    Great books. I feel like the larger books are cooler, but if you just want these books to read and not collect, it is great. It was noticeable that they had been used but no damage or tears which is as expected. Great buy, great series

    The case for the books tore very easily. I had to tape it.

    The books, of course, are excellent but case for them is very flimsy and tore when I took the books out of it. Also, the artwork leaves a lot to be desired. I was hoping for better quality.
