4th print, hard to tell which variant though. Not a bad price.
I went ahead and ordered this, I liked the "Distributed by Macmillan" sticker/overprint on the jacket if nothing else. Thought it might be bibliographically interesting. Will take a month or two to get here though.

Glad you got it Urulókë! According to Deagol's site:
Copies of this edition were also distibuted in the United States by Barnes & Noble and Macmillan. Copies have been seen with either:
1) A Barnes & Noble label affixed over the Allen & Unwin imprint on the title page.
2) A Macmillan label added to the upper cover (below Tolkien's name).
My 4th has the Macmillan label on FFEP which I have never seen anywhere else.
On the 1958+ impressions page, that information you have is shown (about US distribution with B&N and Macmillan labels).

The impression just listed on Abebooks (and sounds like yours as well) is from the 1950 edition - different dustjacket. Sounds like the US distribution was taking place earlier than noted by Deagol is all, but interesting none-the-less!

Ah, yes. Very Good! Would be interested to know if any other members have one on the FFEP like mine to get a sense of how common one or the other is.
