I think this one must be an error:

I have to mention this, but the book that originally started this thread, has just reappeared on our favourite Auction House, Sold for £156.51 (I paid less than this for my very, very expensive copy in the first post )
This Troll-hobbit is really creepy.

Scarey! Check this out:-
"I was told by the shop that I ordered this from that the timber that this table is made from comes from TOLKEINS library.
Apparently the furniture maker bought the timber that came out of the library when it was stripped out.
I have no way of proving this, so make of it what you will! The shop would have no reason to randomly make this up though and has made an interesting talking point!"
Interesting indeed. You know, I was introduced to someone, many years ago, who's grandfather had been to the same school as a boy, who's sister had read a book by Tolkien; or maybe about Tolkien; or maybe it was Jules Verne. I can't actually remember. Either way, this story has something to do with Tolkien, therefore it is very important.

They are referring to an entirely different individual than J.R.R. Tolkien, very little is known about Tolkein though he does have his own society and website.
By an oversight from Jeremy tolkeinguide.com has not yet been set up

We should probably set up a tolkeinguide.com site & highlight everything in this thread as genuine good buys!

I can't think of any reason. And not only regarding the shop - I can't think of any reason why the eBay-seller would make this up. No idea. Nothing. There are no such reasons. No.
Oh dear, so many problems, hard to know where to start

I assume they asked if they could use the pictures from www.tolkienbookshelf.com.
