Tolkien writes to R.B. McCallum, Master of Pembroke College, who asks that Tolkien remember the college in his will.^{Tolkien would remember Pembroke College in his Will, "3. (iii) To Exeter College Oxford the sum of Three Hundred Pounds (£300) and to Pembroke College Oxford the sum of Two Hundred Pounds (£200) in recognition of the kindness of both Colleges to me over the years"[1]}

Tolkien says he doesn't remember making a remark that is quoted by the respondent, but that he agrees with it and is happy that the respondent remembers it.
