C.T. OnionsCharles Talbut Onions, 1873-1965[1] writes to Tolkien to say that he will hopefully see him and Edith on 19 August in Oxford. They will be there to conclude business on their move to Leeds.
Onions had been writing to Tolkien with the suggestion that he work on an edition of Sir Gawain. He agrees with Tolkien that an edition of it should not have normalized texts.
