TCG Letter #1678

Writing to Rayner, Tolkien says that his face is healing, and he is feeling better, and able to read and write again. He has not been able to complete the Zimmerman matter yet but will return the material in the coming days. He says that Rayner can tone the criticism down if he wishes.

He encloses "two sheets of the commentary" he "he was making".
