TCG Letter #1695

Kenneth Sisam sends Tolkien an advance copy of Sir Gawain and the Green Knight, noting that some changes will be made. Oxford University Press will add guard sheets for the plates and they will alter the binding. He asks Tolkien to show his copy to E.V. Gordon as only that copy if available to share.
He asls Tolkien to make hima ware of ay faults in the copy as quickly as he can.^{Tolkien and Gordon must have worked quickly if there were any errors as one month later, on 23 April, 1925, Sir Gawain and the Green Knight was published.[1]}
