In late 1925, Tolkien and Reynolds began to write to each other again,See Letter from R.W. Reynolds to J.R.R. Tolkien • End of 1925 (#1727)[1] and in early 1926, Tolkien sends to Reynolds various poems, including Lay of Leithian, The Lay of the Children of Húrin, among others.
