Writing to his brother, C. S. Lewis gives updates on his life and work. he makes a brief mention to Tolkien visiting him on Monday mornings to "drink a glass". He says that it is the "pleasantest spots in the week." They talk about politics, their poetry, talk on theology, or the "state of the nature".
