TCG Letter #1850

Tolkien writes to GA&U noting that he has corrected the first proofs for The Hobbit but says that he wants to keep hold of them until the complete set has arrived. He has found some discrepancies in the text. He asks when the remaining proofs will arrive. He mentions that the errors he noted in The Trolls illustration have carried over to the proof. he assumes that they are now not able to correct this.
