TCG Letter #1857

Tolkien sends Roberts's letter about serializing The Hobbit in Princess magazine to his publisher. He is in principle ok with the idea as the fee seems reasonable and it should not affect book sales. He would like to see samples of the art. He does not want Gollum to be depicted as a monster as most other illustrators have done.
