In reply to Tolkien's letter, Letter from J.R.R. Tolkien to C.A. Furth • 30 March 1937 (#1866)[1] C.A. Furth writes to say that the printers have decided to revise the whole of The Hobbit. Tolkien should receive some of the proofs by 3-4 April and the remaining proofs around 7 April.
