TCG Letter #2003

Tolkien had written to his aunt, Jane Neave on 22 September and signed a copy of The Hobbit. ^{Letter from J.R.R. He writes again (inc. another copy of The Hobbit) after Aunt Jane had written on 1 October ^{Letter from Jane Neave to J.R.R. Tolkien • 1 October 1937 (#2002)[2]} asking about the book. He asks her about the Times Book Club that she mentioned in her letter.
