This short note sees Tolkien confirming a visit the following day at noon by Levinson. A description of the letter was included in Bonhams Books, Maps and Manuscripts 23 March 2004.
Autograph postcard signed ("JRRT."), to Deirdre Levinson of St Anne's College, agreeing that 12 noon tomorrow will be "convenient forme" and that he expects her then, ('From Professor J.R.R. Tolkien, Merton College, 13 June 1955) http://www.hammondandscull.com/addenda/chronology.html notes that Tolkien writes to "probationer B.Litt. student D.C. Levinson" confirming he is expecting her at noon on the 14th June, the next day.[1]
