Stanley Unwin sends Tolkien a typescript of Tolkien's story, The Lost Road to him, as promised.^{See Letter from Stanley Unwin to J.R.R. Tolkien • 30 November 1937 (#2113). Tolkien will make some corrections to the typescript made by the typist.[1]} He says that its possible publishing success is hard to judge from a fragment but would like to see it completed, though he "cannot hold out any hope of commercial success". They much prefer another book on Hobbits.
