Postcard sent by Christopher to Wynne in the course of their correspondence about Tolkien's invented languages. Christopher sent a small quote from Tolkien's unpublished (at that time) Etymologiessee The Lost Road, 1987[1] revealing that Tolkien did actually conceive of Elves having pointed ears.
