TCG Letter #2271

Tolkien opens this letter to Donald Swann inviting him to his party and mentions Christopher having an accident which has damaged his leg. He remarks that a piano can be sourced for Swann to use for a recital, and upright if it would be suitable. He says that Christopher will be able to hobble in for the celebration of their Golden Wedding celebration at Merton College on the 23rd March.
