TCG Letter #788

Tolkien says that he had never met Ford Madox Ford and had not until very recently read anything from him. He says that he is too engaged with his own affairs to be fair to other authors. He thanks Smith for the information she sent on Diplomat who were running an article on him. He hopes it is not as “distasteful” as others, noting the New Yorker writing on Auden's talk given to the Tolkien Society.
