TCG Letter #809

Tolkien replies to Janina Mroczkowska, the wife of Tolkien's friend and professor, Przemyslaw Mroczkowski. He apologises for his lack of replying to Przemyslaw, he has been weighed down by his own troubles of late and the Mroczkowski's had not been given the Tolkien's new address, which Tolkien corrects and includes in the letter. Their daughter (Maria Anuncjata Mroczkowski) had written to Tolkien but it too had reached the wrong address and came to Tolkien very late, too late for him to help her with a college paper.

He closes by stating that he prays for them, and Poland, daily.
