TCG Letter #882

This rather odd loose slip of paper was found inside a copy of Sir Gawain and the Green Knight and is housed as part of the Bodleian Library Tolkien archive. Opening with "My dear Swann" this letter makes little sense and cannot be dated. It has the appearance of being a scratch sheet where Tolkien was practicing his penmanship or exercising a new fountain pen nib.
