TCG Letter #1111

Wiseman wrote, crossing with Tolkien's letter of the same day ( Letter from J.R.R. Tolkien to Christopher Wiseman • 16 November 1914 (#1110)) to say that Rob Gilson was free and can attend a T.C.B.S. meeting on 12 December. Unlike Tolkien, Gilson does not see the T.C.B.S. being an important group. Wiseman closes the letter with the phrase "TCBS über alles".^{Tolkien and the Great War, p. 56[1]}
