Tolkien • 2 March 1915 (#1201)[1] had gone unanswered so Wiseman and GilsonGarth also attributes GB Smith as a sender[2] send Tolkien a telegram. They suggest, though not seriously, that if Tolkien does not attend at the weekend will be counted as his resignation from the T.C.B.S., Tolkien would in fact not attend.
