Following Rayner Unwin's letter to Pauline Baynes, Letter from Rayner Unwin (George Allen & Unwin) to Pauline Baynes • 9 May 1962 (#1229)[1] Joy Hill writes to Tolkien confirming their offer to Baynes to illustrate The Adventures of Tom Bombadil and Other Verses from the Red Book. She asks Tolkien to inform them of his changes to 'Bombadil Goes Boating' and to include the blurb and introduction which are both outstanding. Also included with the letter is a contract for Tolkien to sign.
