Tolkien to Mabel Day (Early English Text Society) • 14 January 1936 (#1810)[1]} . She notes that she has sent the first to A.W. Pollard,^{Honorary Director of the EETS.[2]} and explains some of the policies of the EETS. She promises to send Tolkien a copy of the French manuscript for the Ancrene Riwle.
