Tolkien replies to Salmon of the BBC who had written ^{Letter from C.V. Salmon to J.R.R. Tolkien • 16 November 1937 (#2105)[1]} asking about Tolkien's interest in a BBC Radio programme on Beowulf. Tolkien would be very interested in discussing such a broadcast and says that he can make himself available most days in Oxford when he is not lecturing.
