Bidders in Europe were not able to bid. I’ve had to change to the eBay Canada site in order to correct the problem and the listing is now in Canadian dollars but it should translate to your local currency. Any questions please get in touch. This version of the Silmarillion - Original UK edition 1977 - was for promotional purposes only. It was available ONLY to bookstores that ordered a specific number of copies so they could show prospective customers what it was like. It was a pre-sale version. It has the beginning of the book but stops after page 32. The rest of the book has the same number of pages as a regular copy but after page 32 they are all blank. There is a "foldout map" in the back but it is blank as well. I had a bookstore at that time and we specialized in SF so we ended up with a copy.
