Notable for the inclusion of "Goblin Feet", by J.R.R. Tolkien or, here, "Tolkein". Not the first appearance of the poem (which first appeared in print in another Blackwell anthology 1915 (per Hammond and Anderson's Descriptive Bibliography), and subsequently, but this is the (undated) 1922 first edition of this volume, which had many reprints. An older, more critical Tolkien later disavowed the 23 year old Tolkien's "Goblin Feet" as an 'unhappy little thing'. The volume, as a whole, has delightful presentation, spacious, elegant, restrained. We personally inspect every book we offer. Don't forget to check out other great deals in our eBay Store!!
