It also used the same casing as the UK 1951 Hobbit, except with Houghton Mifflin Company at the bottom of the spine, which is the only difference between the UK and US copies of the 1951 Hobbit. Covers with some slight marks and some shelf wear. Front and rear internal hinges cracked Lightly written name at the top of the front map and on the top of the front free end paper. The book is very clean throughout. A very good copy of this scarce book.
