This is a mint condition, shrinkwrapped portfolio with ONE plate numbered and signed by Alan Lee, who's best known for his LORD OF THE RINGS artwork for Peter Jackson's movie of the same name. This is boxed and the prints are on heavy stock. Cygnus, which issued other similar portfolios, including Jeff Jones and Robert Gould (the publisher at Cygnus). The printing is by a Boston company, Thomas Todd, I believe, and the printing is exacting. The pencil art is beautifully reproduced. My recollection is that there are six plates.
