Navy Blue boards with gilt lettering to spine. Folded map at rear. In very good all round condition. some slight foxing to end boards and side edge, slight bumping to top and bottom of jacket. Top edge stained blue Internally clean. Signed by the author to ffep. Possibly unread. 2) The Hobbit by JRR Tolkien, with preface by Christopher Tolkien. Collectors' Edition 2012 Fifth Edition. Published by Harper Collins. In Original dust jacket, not price clipped showing price of £14.99. Grey and coloured boards. In Very good overall condition. Some slight bumping to board extremities and ever so slightly to edges of DJ. pg 93 with slight damage and dog eared- see photos. Some scattered foxing the worst found at top of pg 95- again see photo. Pages slightly yellowed but remain crisp and bright. Very lightly read. Beautifully signed by Christopher Tolkien to half title that bears the JRR illustration and further inscribed by CT with date 'Xmas 2012, with correction  (original year inscription crossed through and corrected showing correct date). 3) The Silmarillion by Christopher Tolkien, First Edition, Second Printing. 1977. Published by George Allen Unwin London. In Original dust jacket, price clipped. Folded map to rear. Navy Blue boards, gilt lettering to spine. Jacket has closed tear to front top edge approx 2.5 cm. Bumping to outer extremities of Dust jacket to top front edge and top of spine. Some light scattered foxing.  Signed by CT to ffep and dated 29 May 1929.  A pleasing signed copy. A rare opportunity to acquire this trio of signed Christopher Tolkien Books. A similar 1st/ 1st signed copy of The Silmarillion sold late last year for £1600 plus commision. I can't trace any signed copies of this Collectors' Edition of The Hobbit signed by CT.
