Elliott-Binns and published in 1955 by Methuen in London. John was the eldest son of Edith and J. R. R. Tolkien, the author of Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit. A nice association copy. A very good copy - The cloth covers lightly rubbed around the edges. The text block is a bit toned but all the pages are clean without any notes. Binding is strong. Dustwrapper is toned to the spine, with rubbing and some nicks to the edges.
