I am cleaning out some projects that just never got going. Over the past several years I have been collecting fair quality 1st edition/1st printings of The Lord of The Rings. This is the full set and my plan was always to have them rebound in leather or something nice. As you can see in the pictures, they need some attention, but all the essential 1st copyright points and pages are present. This will make an absolutely stunning set in the hands of a good bindery. As I’ve looked at these for the last few years, I am just not sure I’m ever going to get to it, so here is an opportunity/project for someone else. These are priced at a bargain because once rebound the set will jump in value and collectability. The pictures really tell the tale here: The Fellowship had been rebound before I got it in some kind of an institutional binding. The two towers comes with the original binding and a facsimile cover (that is pictured) The return of the king is in original binding.
