This is a softcover copy of Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, drawing and signed by Ian Mckellan, the actor who portrayed Gandalf. Mckellan signed this for a fan named Owen in 2007, and he kindly included a sketch of Gandalf. All this can be found on the inside of the back cover. This copy was manufactured in the USA, and it is the First Ballantine Books Edition: October 1965. Cover art by Michael Herring, and Maps by Shelly Shapiro. I had the inscription/ signature authenticated by Buona Fede Authentication a while back, and it was deemed certified authentic. The cert # on the COA (37699RH) is verifiable on their website.
