Proof copy of Smith of Wootton Major for sale

This is the second proof of WM in as many months. Quite strange that two should turn up on eBay at practically the same time. The last copy went for £410 in early June:

I was thinking the exact same thing! They are not the same copies though. It is really funny to wait for years for books like this to show up and then you have 2 chances in a matter of months I know that some of you guys here are interested in this book very much so good luck!

Yip, definitely not the same copy. Never seen one of these on eBay ever, so it is indeed odd that two came along at once. Good luck if you're bidding, I won't be.

Looking at the bidding, it's actually only four individual potential buyers; but they've put in fifty-one bids. I hope it's not four peeps on here bidding against each other! ;)
