I just bought a copy of the Silmarillion with a signature of Christopher Tolkien. I have asked the seller more about the provenance and the story behind but waiting for the reply.
Here is the picture of the signature. Does it seems legit to you?

Iit seems that even his early signatures can change from time to time, depending if the signature is for a limited edition (like the Red Silm with more elaborated capital letters) or an autograph. Even on the autograph ones, the "s" and "t from Christopher seem to vary sometime.
