I agree with LanceFormation, unsigned is a consideration here. However, lots of money (as we all know) being thrown at Tolkien these days. For many collectors who have only recently become serious, this is the first '82 S to come to market. I'm guessing £6000.
Also the math suggests that if someone in the States were to win it at £6000, the premium and taxes on both ends would be about $10,000.

Well... at least something good came out of that
Based on my incomplete records, I bought my signed copy (#83) in 2016, for something like USD5000--not at an auction.
