Over the holiday break I bought this poster just because it was so strange and I had never heard or seen of anything like it before. It is copyright 1975 from Edward G. Pogue, and has a price of $3.95 printed on it so it must have been commercially sold at some point. Size is 24" x 36", and it is in great condition. It is titled "The Lord of the Rings" and has the ring verse in the Black Speech on the bottom, but the bulk of the poster is a very simple plot breakdown of the work. I think it is great, and will be doing some further research on it to try and find out more. Perhaps it was a student project (poster printing...?) but the printed price makes be doubt that theory.
Glad to add it to my "fan" produced materials from that era, in any event!
