The 1992 3 Vol is not a dwarf set either. Seeing together puts it in perspective.

Whilst I really am not fond of the boards, they look nice on the shelf.

Just been looking through the books, these are by far the best copy of The Lord of the Rings that I own, looking for faults but can't find any. As it should be because of the price.

This is a very high bar for Tolkien books that hopefully other editions can aim towards.

The text is the latest version and incorporates all of Wayne & Christina's https://www.hammondandscull.com/addenda/rings.html items. It also includes both Notes on the Text.

I always find it best to open the curtains when taking a photo.
