I ended up buying this for $31. I've been reading more about Tolkien's drawings, so I decided to bid on this nice, collector's item. I'm happy I got it at a good price (I think).

I ended up buying this for $31. I've been reading more about Tolkien's drawings, so I decided to bid on this nice, collector's item. I'm happy I got it at a good price (I think).

I'd say that's a good price considering that there are probably less than 1000 of those floating around out there.

Indeed, I didn't find many others for sale, and if I did, they were more expensive.

I understand it may not be an item of a high interest for every collector, but I think it'll nicely complement my Tolkien artwork books .

I'd also say that seems to be fair price. They come up somewhat frequently, but they definitely aren't common.
