@Demis, Snapped it up from ebay (AU site) as it was listed, for $25AUD.
My default filter in ebay is Tolkien, worldwide, "show new listings since last visit" & sort by most recent. Have similar filters for hobbit etc just in case the seller, for some reason, doesn't use the world tolkien in the listing (it happens).
Thank you. Can I ask - is this a one volume in a sleeve or it’s more volumes like the poems version?
The miniature Father Christmas Letters, 3 volume is a box-set, if you have this then keep the dust-jacket spines out of the light as the red is very prone to fading, mine were already faded when I got them, the single volume is not in a slip-case.

Thank you Trotter - very informative as always.
Received a little wonder today : Hervarar Saga ok Heidreks by G. Turville-Petre with introduction by Christopher Tolkien (Viking Society for Northern Research)
This is the first edition 1956, ex-lib nicely rebound, but still very rare.

That's awesome Emilien! Been looking for one of those for some time. Congratulations.
Thank you Chad ! Was extra lucky on this one. £4.95 + shipping
I'm proud to own the very first publication of Christopher
I have to find another tricky one now : The battle of the Goths and the Huns.

I have nearly finished getting all the sets of LOTR translations with the Rings of Power "hands" covers. In order they are Dutch, German (with separate Appendices), Hungarian, Brazilian Portuguese, European Portuguese (missing FR), and Spanish. German and Dutch three-volume editions often publish the Appendices as a separate volume instead of combined with RK. The German has a separate Appendices, but I haven't found one for the Dutch (the Appendices are not in RK). The bookseller that I got the European Portuguese from (with the kind help of Rene at the Tolkien Shop in Leiden) send me the wrong edition of FR. They are trying to fix it, but they are apparently out of stock (as almost every other Portuguese LOTR source seems to be). I'd say it's about 50/50 as to whether I get a European Portuguese FR or not.

I have SAGA-BOOK Vol. XIV Part 3 (Viking Society for Northern Research), which includes ‘The Battle of the Goths and the Huns’ by Christopher Tolkien. Have never stumbled across Hervarar Saga ok Heidreks though. Nice find.
