Do you have a confirmation about the publication in two days of Tolkien on Chaucer: 1913-1959 by Pr. Bowers ? It seems that the OUP website haven't publish the cover yet, but the date isn't modified since the beginning. I suppose a delay, maybe.

They have modified the date on the OUP website.
This item is not yet published. It is available for pre-orders and will ship on 25 June 2024.
Thanks for the update Trotter. That's really weird, because from here in France, I have the message "This item is not yet published, but may be pre-ordered now for delivery when available. Published: 25 April 2024 (Estimated)".
If you change the country to United States at the top of the page, you see the June Date, UK and France still show the 25th April. Don't think those pages have been updated yet.

Amazon U.K. still show 25th April
Amazon UK and Blackwells are now showing that the book is unavailable, but Amazon US have revised the date to 25th July 2024 for the book release.
Tolkien on Chaucer is now listed on the OUP UK site, different info is shown depending on the country you select at the top, as estimated to be released on 17th April 2025.

My July 2023 preorder is still active, lets see if it remains. Nice if they keep the date too as it is a book I have been excited for which now falls on my birthday.
So next year instead of this then. Oh well, I’ve been getting through Tolkien’s Lost Chaucer in readiness too 😆. I can slow down now!

I don't want to speak on behalf of John Bowers but it was unforeseen circumstances that couldn't be helped. It'll be worth the wait I'm sure. I thought Tolkien's Lost Chaucer was an excellent book. I'm kinda glad it's not this year with everything coming out as it's an expensive year for Tolkien already 😁
