Congrats Tiny Turtle ! Great acquisition
Wow, thank you so much!! That was incredibly fast and epic. I can now place them on my shelves without my collectors OCD going into overdrive every time I look at them. ? Thanks again!!
I have a doubt regarding TTT though.
Could you post picture of the binding, and also a clearer and magnified pic of the upper part of the dust jacket, where you can see "TOLKIEN" and the two birds?
And also pages 20, 122 and 137

I confirm : your TTT is a 6th impression.
No, thank you! That was some top-quality sleuthing!

Very nice set. Congrats
Very nice set. Congrats
Wayne Hammond’s descriptive bibliography. 1st print.
A little bumped but still I believe this is relatively scarce due to a low print run !

Some early American copies of LOTR arrived today, but are missing the publication dates and impressions. does anyone know a solid way to identify these?
I know they are not first impressions, and that they are relatively early because of the jackets, but beyond that I'm lost! Its annoying not being able to chronologically place them on my shelves
Just now seeing this. Very nice set Tiny Turtle , the colors on those dust wrappers are still very vibrant. Congrats ?

Thanks ? I snagged a bargain, buying them on vague description alone: so I'm very pleased with them. I love the first edition US djs.
