Mmmm listing removed - looks like someone negotiated a deal to me.
Personally agree Jlong £300 too much. I might be tempted at £50 or maybe a little more if feeling flush but not £100's. That being said its a shame no reprints as wouldnt mind reading

The Amazon link has gone. Was it the same copy Jlong, or another? How much was it listed at?
How much would you be willing to pay, Deagol, for a replacement copy, if you carelessly lost your copy? (--which seems highly unlikely, I might add. )

Those were my thoughts too, Deagol i.e. wince, but tempting. I just felt £300 was too much though.
On an open eBay auction I reckon the bidding would go pretty high. Not £300 I don't think, but certainly £200 I reckon. The last time I ever remember a copy for sale, as an auction, was when Daeron's Books sold a copy in March 2007 (--so my notebook says! ). That went for £158; & that was six years ago. Everything else has been auctions ended early, withdrawn, or static price listings, like Abebooks. Don't recall any other auctions for this book.
