It's a second printing, not a first. But the dustjacket looks the same as that of the first printing as far as I can tell, which is nice.
Nice handsome editions. I've been after a seafarer, but keep playing the the "stock photo" "here's the paperback instead" game.

Thanks. It took me about a year of searching to find one in decent condition, and when it arrived I still dreaded that it might not actually be a true first. But - patience pays off - it only cost $5!

I have a 1961 edition ("Reprinted from sheets of the first edition") and in the dustjacket the second name of the General Editors is different (Herbert Davis instead of F.P. Wilson)
