More photos dropped. Looks like in addition to the Christopher/Riddett map there is a copy of JRRT’s own map.
I still don't care for the letters on the pages but the green (while baby poop looking) does suit the book.
I think the outside of the book makes it look rather majestic and of holding real weight and importance. I really like it.

Looks like some shops in the UK are beginning to put the trade volume out for sale. Someone on a FB Tolkien group is posting pictures of theirs.
