HarperCollins are now selling E-books.
The Hobbit
The Fellowship of the Ring
The Two Towers
The Return of the King
The Children of Húrin
The Lord of the Rings
They have DRM on them and seem to have a lot of restrictions on what you can do with them, for instance you can only print 122 pages of "The Lord of the Rings". I also am unsure as to whether they would work on the Amazon Kindle or Sony E-Reader because of the DRM (this is the big problem with DRM in that it can severely restrict your use of items that you have bought, while not really stopping piracy as pirates make the e-book themselves with no DRM or remove the DRM).
I always advise think carefully before buying DRMed items, as you may find in the future you no longer have access or any capability to read the books, unlike real books which you can always read.
