Do all the drawings by Tolkien that were featured in the Drawings by Tolkien catalogue also feature in Artist & Illustrator?
If so, what is the additional value of Drawings to one's collection (if one has A&I but not Drawings)? Or is it simply a collector's item?

"Or is it simply a collector's item?"
... I'm not sure if I fully understand what those words, in that order, mean.

I am also very unsure of what that means on a collector's forum.
Drawings by Tolkien is a catalogue of an exhibition held in 1976 and 1977 in Oxford and London of Tolkien's drawings and illustrations.
The catalogue has a small number of illustrations but mainly refers to the drawings on display in the exhibition in three sections
1
The Hobbit (most, if not all, of these would be in the
Art of the Hobbit)
2
The Father Christmas Letters (most would be in the published books)
3
The Lord of the Rings (most, if not all, would be in
Artist & Illustrator)
and also includes an introduction by Baillie Tolkien.

For example, is Drawings interesting to someone who wants to collect all of Tolkien's different drawings and paintings, but who has already got Artist & Illustrator? For him (or her), Drawings would be of no interest, if all of the featured drawings are also published in Artist & Illustrator.
I meant no offence, Khamûl.

As said, I meant no offence at all, the sentence both of you refer to was indeed formulated a bit odd. I count myself to the Tolkien collecting community on this forum. However, because of recent financial and practical reasons I've had to take a serious step back in my collecting habits. I'm now concentrating on collecting every piece of primary Tolkien material rather than on different editions of his work and such.

To answer the original question
there are a couple of spiral-type emblems in DbT that I couldn't see in A&I and the lower cover displays the 70s version of the Ring & Eye device for the LR jackets - without the book titles overlaid.
