RotK, 2nd Ed., 7th Imp 1973; p. 352; Footnote 1: Hobbit, 63.
p. 353; Footnote 3: Hobbit, 243.
p. 353; Footnote 4: Hobbit, 31.
Same page references given in 9th and 10th impressions of same edition.
Hope that helps... let me know if you need more :)

The page numbers refer to the UK GA&U 3rd edition hardback
Hobbit, for instance footnote one is about Durin and page 63 of my 1974
Hobbit, includes Thorin's mention of Durin.

Thank you very much. So the edition of
The Hobbit it is referencing is
this. The text was reset for the
eighth impression, and so these page references do not match any U.K. printings from 1974 on, including the U.K.
Deluxe Edition of 1976.
Funnily, the U.S. Deluxe Edition (the “Green Leatherette”) first came out in 1973 (and is still in print today!), and so it retains the pre-1974 text setting, and those page references from RotK still match up. Presumably this is also true for the U.S. 1987 “Gold Leatherette” 50th Anniversary Edition.
