While the Guide section here at TCG is very wide ranging, the discussion forums are very dominated by book collectors and book collecting topics, with calendars and other printed publications (fanzines for example) being most of the rest. With this in mind, I am curious if visitors here are looking forward to Peter Jackson's The Hobbit movies or not.

Consider - in addition to an onslaught of marketing materials and branded whatnots (anyone remember the Lord of the Rings electric train set???) there will be new editions of The Hobbit worldwide, along with likely new matching editions of The Lord of the Rings and other titles. More is not necessarily better, but I for one am looking forward to finding the gems amongst the cubic zirconia.
