Hello. I didn't know where to post this, so apologies if it's misplaced.
I'm looking for someone who has some extra time (and a good heart) to help in some personal research of mine.
I need to check 5 authors on Oronzo Cilli's Tolkien's Library (I haven't been able to purchase this one, but I'll do it in within 2 months when I place my next amazon uk order).
If an author exists, could this person send me a photo of the entry?
Thanks in advance! As a compensation, if we ever meet in some Tolkien event, I'll be happy to get this person some beers!
Thank you!

I can check it for you, can you PM the authors to me?

Thanks to Trotter for the help!
I have an additional question, for anyone who would like to help out:
Does anyone know any Old Norse/Icelandic grammars Tolkien might have used/be familiar with, especially as a student, or alternatively during his professor years?
Trotter checked for Guðbrandur Vigfússon and George Bayldon in Tolkien's Library, but there were no entries. Thanks in advance!

Tolkien would certainly have known and referred to Adolf Noreen's two-volume Altnordische Grammatik, a standard work during Tolkien's lifetime, vol. I of which, Altisländische und altnorwegische Grammatik is listed in Tolkien's Library, together with Felber's Altisländisches Elementarbuch.
Woah, thanks so much,
Aelfwine, just what I was looking for! (Btw, completely off-topic, but you're Carl H., right? I read that you work at NASA, that's incredible! I'm an Astrophysics Ph.D. student myself, in California).

Carl, I am just being nosey here really but I am interested. How did you end up at NASA? Was it something you always wanted from an early age or did the opportunity came along organically? I only ask as being involved in such a specific way with Tolkien and having this other career going on is incredibly interesting.
Hey
Urulókë, maybe you should interview Carl
he has a book coming out so I've heard.

So, I don't want to derail the thread, but suffice it to say that while I developed an interest in Tolkien, linguistics, and Tolkienian linguistics long before I had any notion of working for NASA (and in fact linguistics preceded Tolkien), or even in becoming a professional computer programmer, I did enter university (1983) with a plan to seek a degree in Physics, which before I graduated became a degree in Computer Science. That, and being in the right place at the right time, is how I ended up working at NASA.
